We are a baptized body of believers. This means that each person who is a member of First Baptist Church has placed his/her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Membership in First Baptist is through baptism by immersion.

We believe that Jesus is God's own Son, the second Person of the Trinity.

We believe that God's Son became a man, Jesus of Nazareth, born of a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, that He died in our place, that He was buried, and that He rose from the grave. We affirm that He is returning some day for His church, and that all who have placed their faith in Him will spend eternity with Him in heaven.

We also believe that the Bible is God's authoritative, infallible word, and is truth without any error. It is our sole guide for faith and for instruction in how to live.

First Baptist Church is a family comprised of members from all walks of life who come together for fellowship, Bible study, and worship each week.  First Baptist is a mission-minded church. We support missionaries around the world. We also regularly send mission teams to places like Russia , Haiti , and Mexico .
