Interfaith Assistance Ministries

Assists Henderson County residents who are in financial crisis by offering emergency funds, food, clothing, counseling and referrals in an atmosphere of compassion and respect.

Henderson County Rescue Mission

Emergency food and/or shelter assistance. Meals are offered to all who are hungry, and are open to the public.  The Henderson County Rescue Mission also offers Christian counseling to families and for people that need a holistic Christ like transformation.

Bethany Christian Service

This is the largest nonprofit adoption agency in the United States and has more than 60 years of experience delivering child and family services. Open Arms Crisis Pregnancy Services

A non-denominational Christian ministry serving both Henderson and Polk counties for those experiencing a crisis pregnancy

 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The FCA Mission:  “To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.”

 

The Storehouse

The organization has provided food, hygiene items and clothes to those in need with a Christ like manner.

 

Habitat for Humanity

Mission Statement:   Henderson County Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

House of Hope

House of Hope assists in the treatment of various personal issues with a Christian perspective.  Families seeking assistance may turn to House of Hope to help in dealing with divorce, anger, rebellion, depression, substance, sexual, physical or emotional abuse.
